Con grande piacere Vi informiamo delle ultime recensioni dei vini BARBERANI uscite sul WINE ADVOCATE, la rivista di Rober Parker, uno dei piu' influenti ed importanti giornalisti del mondo del vino. E' veramente un grande onore per la nostra famiglia ricevere tali commenti positivi su quello che e' la nostra vita, la nostra passione, i nostri vini.
Il Sig. Galloni, assaggiatore ufficiale per l'Italia di Wine Advocate, giudica semplicemente favoloso il POLVENTO VILLA MONTICELLI ROSSO 2006 premiandolo con ben 92 PUNTI.
L'ORVIETO CLASSICO SUPERIORE CALCAIA MUFFA NOBILE e' indicato come un vino formidabile, "TERRIFIC" come dicono correntemente in slang new yorkese. Ben 91 PUNTI.
Il nostro Moscato Passito Villa Monticelli viene lodato per la sua bellissima freschezza ed equilibrio. 89 punti.
Ma la cosa che ci ha ancor piu' colpito e' stata la nota finale nell'articolo introduttivo degli assaggi dei vini dell'Italia centrale e del sud di Mr. Galloni: "Infine ho assaggiato parecchi vini sotto $15 che hanno avuto ben 86 e 87 punti che possono essere considerati di grande valore. La cosa migliore dei vini in questa categoria e' il carattere elegante e ben fatto, con buon aroma varietale e nessun difetto osservabile"
CASTAGNOLO BARBERANI 2009 ORVIETO CLASSICO SUPERIORE - Un vino bianco da pasto secco, uvaggio particolare, tipico dell'Orvieto Classico. E' un bianco minerale e rinfrescante, tipicamente umbro, con un eccellente equilibrio, rotondo con finale armonioso. Valutazione 87 PUNTI.

Lo scorso 18 Luglio 2009 si e' svolta a Frontignan-La-Peyrade (Maison Voltaire) nella regione del Languedoc-Roussilon di Francia la nona edizione del concorso annuale ''Muscats du Monde''.
''Muscats du Monde'' e' organizzata dall'Associazione Forum Oenologie francese con la partecipazione della Revue des Oenologues.
Questo evento e' unico in termini di portata e selezione degustativa e quindi ambizioso traguardo per tutte le Aziende partecipanti:
- 24 paesi in competizione - Piu' di 45 giudici esperti internazionali. - Un metodo rigoroso: Conformita' con le regole internazionali delle competizioni degustative del vino ed applicazione rigorosa del controllo della qualita' ISO 9002 per i test di verifica per le competizioni enologiche internazionali. - Selezione rigorosa del comitato di esperti i giudici: professionisti esperti nella metodologia dell'assaggio e nella valutazione specifica di ogni vino. - Organizzazione impeccabile ed orientata alla qualita': limitazione del numero dei vini per giuria e condizioni di assaggio ideali (isolamento sensitivo, ritmo adeguato dell'assaggio, ecc.).
